Well, I spent about 2 days trying to figure out what the heck happened when my Mail (from Mac) was just fetching mail and giving me the spinning wheel of death.... The spinning wheel was thinking and thinking and not retrieving new messeges, and if I click the Get Mail button, it would duplicate the message that it was retrieving and then stall out again.. spinning... and spinning..

So, I thought, hey lets just unistall the program and then reinstall it... Hahahahah. APPLE just laughed in my face. I tried that from the install disks that came with Apple. You can customize what you want to install. So, it installed fine, but it was installing the 3.0 version of Mail (and my OS X was up to 10.5.8) and the new Mail version was 3.6.
When I clicked on the Mail app, it would come up with an error, stating: "You cannon use this version of the application Mail with this version of Mas OS X."

DAMN. Now what... I called Apple support and the guy said the only way around it is an archive and install. I thought, there is got to be around it.
So, what did I do: I installed the Mail app, using the install disks like I did above. And then I found a direct Apple link for their newest system update (which is 200+MB's) -- downloaded it and restarted it and VIOLA, got it working! YEAH!
